From the supplier: Seven Las Vegas casino hotels were surveyed to examine their use of yield management (YM) techniques. Results show that five casino hotels used YM techniques. It is also found that the size of a casino hotel and its market segments do not influence the use of YM, that computerized YM programs and manual systems are used by different casino hotel and that employee involvement in YM varies between establishments.
