Graced with a warm tropical climate and plenty of natural building materials, Indonesia has nurtured some of Southeast Asia's most creative architects and designers. This book focuses on contemporary interiors that use ethnic design elements in new and interesting ways: from metropolitan Jakarta to private island retreats. Many of the locations have never been photographed before.

I was most impressed with the pictures of Amanjiwo- a famed Aman resort - and with Begawan Giri in Bali. This book is also well laid out and well written. Highly recommended for people who are interested in Balinese and tropical architecture and design.
