The new edition of the Michelin Guide Paris 2006 will be released at the same time as the Michelin Guide France 2006. Covering Paris and the surrounding area, this 280-page guide includes nearly 1,000 hotels and restaurants in all comfort and price categories.
The Michelin Guide Paris 2006 features all hotels and restaurants in Paris and its environs that are listed in the Michelin Guide France 2006. Easy to use and less thick than the Michelin Guide France 2006, this softbound city guide goes anywhere—in a handbag, purse or car glove compartment.
Featured exclusively in the Paris Guide, the arrondissement street maps indicate the location of each establishment. The Guide also provides useful transportation information (taxi stands, Metro and RER regional express train stations), contact details for airlines, on-duty drugstores, foreign exchange offices and other services, and a list of historic monuments, sightseeing attractions, picturesque neighborhoods and museums.
Hotels and restaurants are also classified according to 17 themes, such as restaurants featuring a terrace, those serving business lunches, Bib Gourmand restaurants, as well as a list of restaurants open on weekends or in July and August.
The Michelin Guide Paris goes on sale on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, priced at €12,50.
