Customer Rating: Summary: Great city and subway Map included! Comment: The foldout map in this book was very helpful during our visit to Beijing. It has a city map on one side and all the subway lines and stops on the other (including the newest lines that just opened in July 2008). The book itself is small enough for pocket or purse and provides a description and history of the various "must see" tourist sites. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little difficult to hold the book pages open to read (because it's narrow, I guess) but would still highly recommend it, especially to first time visitors to Beijing. Will slip easily into any shirt pocket or purse. A great alternative to bulkier guides if you prefer to carry your book with you and are content to keep your information and visits to the top 12-15 sites.
